FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Masculine MetaHumans

Frequently Asked Questions

General

Are these complete characters?

No. These are editable MetaHuman body templates with placeholder faces. You design the characters using MetaHuman Creator - add faces, hair, clothing, and customize proportions.

Can I modify the bodies?

Yes. All MetaHuman editing tools work normally. The enhanced muscle definition is baked into the body mesh, but you can still adjust proportions, add clothing, change skin tone, etc.

How many characters can I make?

Unlimited. Change faces, hair, clothing for infinite variations from each body template. One purchase = unlimited characters.

Do I need Blender/ZBrush skills?

No. Everything works inside MetaHuman Creator using sliders and presets. Just drag .mhpkg files into Unreal and edit with the MetaHuman Creator plugin.

Technical

Which Unreal Engine versions are supported?

Unreal Engine 5.6+ with the MetaHuman Creator plugin enabled.

Will this work with my animations?

Yes. Standard MetaHuman skeleton = 100% compatibility with all MetaHuman/UE5 animations (Lyra, ALS, GASP, custom).

What's the file format?

.mhpkg (MetaHuman package files). Drag into Unreal's Content Browser to import.

How big are the files?

~500 MB per body (~2.5 GB total for all 5).

Licensing

What's Personal vs Professional license?

  • Personal: Personal projects, portfolios, indie games under $100K revenue
  • Professional: Commercial games, AAA studios, unlimited revenue

Can I use these commercially?
