Agentic Atmos provides nine editor-only toolsets on Unreal Engine 5.8 through ToolsetRegistry. The tables list every AICallable method by its C++ name and summarize its declared purpose. Discover live tool identifiers and argument schemas through the editor’s tool registry before calling them; these names are not a promise about a client’s transport spelling.
These toolsets are editor tooling, not a runtime game dependency. World-aware tools generally use the PIE world while playing and the editor world otherwise. Read the returned success state, action, problems, and world context: a successful operation can still carry important caveats.
Authoring tools can save, delete, or rewrite assets. Review exact targets before mutations, use dry runs where offered, and work on your own copies. A failed save is not a completed edit. DeleteAsset refuses referenced assets; it is not a force-delete tool.
Time ownership: an external driver can overwrite SetTime and the within-day part of AdvanceTime. Pausing only postpones that overwrite until resume. Relative advances and warp pushes are not idempotent.
Large time jumps: above the clock’s 366-day event fan-out cap, state still moves the full distance but the event stream is truncated. Read the returned problems; split the move if listeners need every crossing.
Sky readouts:GetSky reports physical-model values. Check bDrivingTheBackend before assuming those values are being applied, and bSolarDaySolved before treating sunrise/sunset as a solved result. SetGeoOrigin requires an explicit asset save afterwards.
Asynchronous capture:CaptureFrame returns before the PNG exists, although its sidecar is already written. It does not pause the clock. Wait for the image and verify it before treating the request as a completed capture.
Registry naming:CreateSkyProfile creates UAtmosRenderProfile; assign the registry to the day cycle’s RenderProfile. New registry and renderer assets are intentionally empty until authored and connected.
Timeline authoring: prefer preset modifier slots. PullPresetIntoSlot and SetSegmentGroup can create hidden inline overrides above an assigned preset. Promotion moves that state into presets and clears it from the timeline. Slot indices can change after sorting.
Validation scope:ValidateAsset recognizes day cycles, regions, weather types, and render profiles. An unsupported class is not a clean validation result. EstimateSegmentCost is a classification, not a GPU timing.
Reference comparison:CompareToReference requires a placed AAtmosCompareRig, an atmosphere sky actor, and a configured reference. It pauses the clock, matches sun elevation, captures both legs, and scores eight axes. No reference sky is supplied automatically. There are no automatic reference-analysis or look-solving tools in this toolset.
